Beloved Minds Ministry

Rev. Michelle King helps churches become more welcoming and supportive of people who are affected by mental health challenges through preaching, teaching, and consulting.

My Services

  • Preaching

Michelle has preached several sermons on the intersection of mental health and faith. Preaching about mental illness from the pulpit is a powerful way to reduce stigma and empowers congregants to share their own stories.

  • Bible Study

Michelle has designed a six week Bible study exploring what the Bible has to say about different mental health topics including depression, anxiety, suicide, and self-care, and discussing what this means for our own lives today. Michelle can lead this Bible study for your congregation or group, either virtually or in person, if you're in the Kalamazoo area.

  • Workshops

Michelle can create a workshop for your congregation or group's needs. Possible topics include an introduction to mental illness, suicide prevention strategies, how to support someone struggling with mental health, the importance of self-care, or other topics that you're interested in.

  • Custom

Have another idea for how Michelle can educate, empower, and/or equip your church or faith group? Let’s talk!

Beloved Minds Ministry reduces the stigma around mental illness in the church and equips people of faith to better support each other and extend the love of Christ to all people.
